Rutherford has been doing business as STUDIO PASSPORT for the more than 12 years, providing a range of services for artists, collectors, individuals, businesses and organizations. These services have included organizing and presenting exhibitions and events; arranging and leading cultural tourism activities including tours of artist's studios and cultural sites; designing and creating websites and custom products; creating web media, digital video and photography, and social media services; and conducting art sales and consulting.
Rutherford has over 30 years experience in the arts as a curator, gallery director and owner, arts advocate, and art handler. Highlights include serving as Director of the Governor's Gallery, and Copeland / Rutherford Fine Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Assistant Director of Special Projects at the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville, Tennessee as well as work on behalf of various non-profit and political organizations including the Capitol Art Foundation, The Institute for American Indian Arts and Project Tibet among others. |
